Elizabeth Gleason grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and received her Bachelor's degree from the University Of Nebraska-Lincoln.
She went on to become a graduate student at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in Minneapolis.
While interning for Museums Of Minnesota, Elizabeth was also an Intern for the Minneapolis City Council, conducting public policy research on issues of employment and equity. Prior to that she worked as a Title Assistant at NP Dodge Real Estate in Omaha, a Staff Assistant at the Douglas County Election Commission, and an Online Communications and Finance Assistant at EMILY's List/Hoosiers for Jill Long Thompson.
Elizabeth is interested in public communications, particularly in regard to recognizing myths and trends in public policy. She hopes to use her skills to increase public engagement and to promote clarity and information-based decision making in the formation of social policy.
