The History Center is the home of the Blue Earth County Historical Society (BECHS). It houses the Society's Museum, Research Center, Museum Store and administrative offices. The Museum highlights items from the society's collections and reflects different aspects of Blue Earth County history. Exhibits range from prehistoric native tools to displays relating to 20th century development of the county. Researchers and genealogists will delight in the varied resources of the BECHS Research Center and Archives. Visitors will be delighted by the large selection of gift items, historical books and archival supplies available at the Museum Store.
