Opening Times:

2014 Season is Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. Hours:  Saturdays, 1:00-5:00 p.m. May 24-August 30 Research visits are also available by appointment. Make arrangements by calling the Society at 507-267-4091.

Admissions:

Society members use the research center free of charge, paying only for copies. Members of the general public are asked to make a donation plus pay copy costs. Copies cost $.25 each.

Description:

Compiling a family history is a precious legacy gift. Through research tools and professional assistance at the County Genealogy Research Center, family historians can create a treasure for future generations. The Le Sueur County Center offers print, microfilm and web-based tools for family and general county history research. The collection includes reference books on town, county and state history, microfilm newspapers, photo files, plat maps, obituary files, birth, death and marriage records, school records and cemetery maps, photos and burial records. The Dalby Cemetery Database, ancestry.com and Minnesota Historical Society online resources are available. Requests for research are received by phone, e-mail and U.S. mail and are fulfilled year-round.
